  2. Hi, i realise there are probably MANY people who have responded & I realise that I live a LONG way away however I thought I would touch base as this job fits me well.
I was brought up with a farming background & can make most things work with a little scrap lying around, I then joined the Royal Navy as a the youngest Clearance diver (UDT)up to that point (qualified at 17). After leaving the RN I was a commercial diver for 22 years until 2004. I then took a few close protection courses & spent 3.5 years in Baghdad working alongside the US Corp of Engineers. I think I would be an asset to any diving team however I reside in Sweden now which is obviously a long way from Alaska! The upshot of living here is that I am well used to the cold & having to drill to fish :-)
Ok, that's it from me, if you ever need any help in your operation I would love to head over...
    Best regards,
    John Steele

    1. Are you interested in working full-time for the next six weeks on a dive team doing underwater dredging near Ft Myers, FL?

The water is warm and shallow (10') but the viz is low. We only dredge three or four days a week. We are looking for a team leader to run a three man boat. Only drama-free and easy going need apply. Daily paperwork takes less than 15 minutes because this is a diving job!

We are also looking for a less experienced dredge diver. Contact Divers@Jetfoods.com

  9. If you are still looking for a good dependable and reliable diver I am very interested. I am advanced open water certified through P.A.D.I, I have hundreds of dives logged ranging from deep water dives to ship wreck dives and more. I also worked as a diver on a commercial sea urchin and sea cucumber operation while doing that in my spare time I did a lot of bottom cleaning. I love to be in the water whether there is excellent visibility or poor visibility. I don't mind diving in bad weather and getting tossed around doesn't bother me. So if you need some one you can count on to go down and stay down regardless of the weather I'm your man. I'm a 27 year old fit white male. My name is Marcus and I would love to be given the opportunity to dive for you. You can contact me via e-mail at marcus.lyngar@gmail.com

Also have experience swimming in the Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Ocean, and Mediterranean Sea...so Alaskan waters will be a piece of cake. I have experience gold pan mining in North Carolina and Tennessee. I am not married and don't have children so I am up for any adventure. :-) I have a BA in Fine Arts so can't use that in today's economy ....usually over qualified for mediocre jobs I apply for....so hoping to snag a job that "draws" from my adventurous and enduring side.
